Required Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

  • 12 cup muffin pan
  • Cupcake liners
  • Cookie scoop
  • Toothpick


  • 1 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large or jumbo Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup Granulated sugar


  • Preheat the oven to 350F (1750C)
  • Line the muffin pan with the cupcake liners and spray them with nonstick cooking spray
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and cocoa powder.
  • Whisk together egg, add milk, vinegar, oil, and vanilla extract
  • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Fold the chocolate chips into the muffin mix.
  • Fill each muffin cup 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 22 minutes (or until a toothpick comes out clean).


  • The recipe makes 12 Muffins

How To Serve/Plate And Garnish

  • Serve 1 Chocolate Muffin with tea, coffee, or with a glass of milk.
