Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake

Fettuccine Alfredo is an old-fashioned favorite dish for a good reason: it’s absolutely delicious! Everyone loves that blend of velvety thin pasta in a warm, rich sauce! This chicken Alfredo Bake is sure to amaze your friends and family with its tender, flavorful pasta. This is one dish that you are sure to make a regular part of your kitchen routine since it’s so simple and yet so tasty. The great thing about this particular version of the classic Alfredo sauce is that it’s easy enough to make on your own yet still high quality.

For this recipe, I recommend using a quality Italian brand pasta sauce. In addition to the sauce, you’ll need balsamic vinegar, chopped onions, fresh garlic, and fresh fettuccine. Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan, then add the pasta. Lower the heat as the Alfredo begins to simmer, and cover until the pasta is soft and fully cooked.

If you wish to change up this classic chicken alfredo pasta recipe to include other meats, such as ground beef or pork, you can substitute ground meat with any flavor of your choice. I find the flavor combination of bacon, sausage, and tomato to be the most interesting. If you wish to serve this on its own, I find it best served on a warm, just-baked slice of baguette with a light butter sauce. I have also had good success placing slices of crisp bacon on top of the baked baguette.

A very important part of this delicious chicken alfredo recipe is using gluten-free pasta. This allows people with gluten intolerance to enjoy the great taste without worrying about triggering their allergies. For those of you with Celiac Disease or a gluten allergy, this is especially important. Without the use of gluten-free pasta, this dish would not be possible. Also, if you watch your weight, you do not really need to use pasta because it is really easy to cut a piece of fresh butcher’s broom in half and simply replace it with the pasta.

To make your own Chicken Alfredo Pasta, simply combine 1/2 cup dry pasta along with two cups water. Bring to a boil and add the pasta. Reduce the heat while cooking for approximately fifteen minutes, or until the pasta is al dente. Uncover and fluff up your baked Chicken Alfredo pasta, and add any additional ingredients you wish to your tasty and healthy meal.

You can either add the chicken alfredo sauce after cooking or let the entire mix cook in the pan. If you are going to stir it, remember to stir it well so that the entire mixture cooks evenly. It is very important to stir your pasta cooking perfectly. Once both the sauce and the pasta are cooked through, you will want to uncover them and add the reserved chicken to the pan. Stir up the mixture until the sauce coats the bottom, and then cover with aluminum foil.

Cover with the remaining ingredients and bake in the oven for approximately forty minutes, or until the casserole is completely set. Once the chicken alfredo recipe is fully cooked, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool down. Once it is cool enough, you can serve it warm or at room temperature. You may choose to serve it as a hot breakfast dish the next day as well.

This chicken alfredo pasta bake is easy to prepare, and it only takes about thirty minutes in the oven. This makes it very convenient if you are running on a tight schedule and do not have much time to cook for your family. However, if you feel that this is too short of a time for you to spend cooking, you may opt for other types of casseroles that you can prepare either in your oven or in a slow cooker. Either way, you will be sure to impress everyone at the dinner table with your unique cooking techniques.
