The other ingredient that I added was chopped fresh flat steel cut onion. I didn’t have enough to add, so I just went ahead and chopped another onion. This resulted in a deliciously creamy pasta sauce that I served on its own. Since everyone loves pasta, I guess it was an excellent choice to make.
