If you’re looking for a creative and tasty pancake, then feta cheese pancakes are a delicious choice. These pancakes are perfect for breakfast or brunch. The recipe is easy enough and uses herbs to add palate appeal.
- Feta cheese – 100 gr
- Cottage cheese 150 gr
- Egg- 1 large
- Flour- 1 tbsp
- Semolina – 1 tbsp
- Italian herbs – 1tsp
- Smoked paprika- 1 tsp
- Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
Feta and cottage cheese mash with a fork.
In cheese, mix add Italian herbs, pepper, and smoked paprika. ( To your taste, you can add a little salt, but be careful not to over-salt as feta cheese is already salty)
Add one egg and mix until smooth. Sift flour and mix with semolina, add to the cheese mass. Stir well.
Form cheese pancakes and roll them in flour.
Fry on both sides until golden brown.
You can serve them both hot and cold with sour cream.
