Configuring ODI (Oracle Data Integrator Studio) to use denodo is the same as any other third party JDBC application data source following the “Fusion Middleware Installing and Configuring Oracle Data Integrator” documentation.
To configure Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to use the Denodo JDBC driver, you will need to perform the following steps:
- Download the Denodo JDBC driver from the Denodo Support Site.
- Copy the denodo JDBC driver jar file into the %APPDATA%/odi/ooracledi/userlib/jdbc/ directory.
- In ODI Studio, create a new data server by selecting Technology > Data Servers in the Topology Navigator.
- Select the JDBC tab and click the New button to create a new JDBC connection.
- In the New JDBC Connection dialog box, enter a name for the connection and select Denodo as the database type.
- In the JDBC URL field, enter the JDBC connection URL for your Denodo data source. The format of the JDBC URL is:
- The Windows %APPDATA% Variable
The Windows %APPDATA% variable is a system environment variable that points to the location of the current user’s application data folder. This folder is used by many applications to store user-specific settings, preferences, and other data.
The %APPDATA% variable points to a specific folder path on the user’s computer, which varies depending on the version of Windows and the user account in use. By default, the folder is in the user’s profile directory, typically located at “C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming”.
To quickly navigate to the %APPDATA%, simply paste %APPDATA% windows explorer navigation bar and press enter.
