Category: Appetizer

When we talk about food, we often think of the word appetizer. In English, an appetizer is a small portion of food, usually a snack, that is served before the main course. The appetizer serves as a way to stimulate the appetite before the main course. In a restaurant, the appetizer plate may be the main meal. In France, it is called hors d’oeuvres. In Italy, it is called antipasto. In Scandinavia, it is known as smorgasbord. Turkish and Spanish cuisine call appetizers meze and tapas.

The word appetizer is also used in other languages. In Chinese, it is referred to as “bai” or “shth awr.” In Japanese, the word for appetizer is “bai pu tao jiu.” In Chinese, it is called a “shik-qian jiu.” The term is often translated as “appetizer” or “preparation.” If you need to learn the definition of appetizer, you can access an online dictionary.

An appetizer is an appetizer that is usually small and inexpensive and served before the main course. In French, the word hors d’oeuvre literally means “outside of work,” which may have led to the use of the word as an adverb. The French were referring to appetizers as foods that were served outside the regular course. It is difficult to say which word came first. This term was also derived from a word that means “out of the ordinary.”
