Strawberry Sheet Cake

Ingredients

For the cake:

  • 2 eggs
  • 15 ounces white cake mix
  • 3 ounces strawberry Jell-O
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup fresh strawberry puree
  • 1/3 cup canola oil

For the frosting:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry Jell-O

For assembling:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberry, sliced

Preparation Directions

  • Put the whole eggs in a large bowl and beat them with the mixer until foamy. Add the cake mix and beat for 1 minute. Now add the rest of the ingredient and continue to beat with the mixer for about 2 minutes until the composition is well homogenized.
  • Pour the batter into a 9×13 inch baking pan. Level with a spatula and bake for 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.

  • Add the rest of the ingredients and beat the composition for 2 minutes until the cream becomes homogeneous and fluffy.
  • Decorate the cake with the prepared cream and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Before serving, decorate the cake with fresh strawberry slices.
