Here is the 1960 strawberry blonde recipe, which is a quick easy way to use some
fresh strawberries.

A Strawberry Blonde Milkshake is a delightful and visually appealing beverage that
combines the sweet and fruity flavors of fresh strawberries with the creamy richness
of vanilla ice cream. The term “Strawberry Blonde” is often used to describe a light
reddish-blond hair color, and in the context of this milkshake, it suggests a blend
of the vibrant red hues of ripe strawberries and the creamy, pale tones of vanilla.

Imagine a smooth and luscious pink concoction, with the vibrant red specks of blended
strawberries suspended in a creamy base. The aroma is a tempting medley of sweet
strawberries and the comforting scent of vanilla. The taste is a harmonious fusion
of the natural sweetness from the strawberries, the creamy undertones of vanilla
ice cream, and the refreshing coolness from the milk.

When served, a Strawberry Blonde Milkshake is often garnished with whipped cream
on top for an added layer of indulgence. The presentation might include a dusting
of strawberry powder or a few fresh strawberry slices as a final touch, enhancing
both the visual appeal and the overall flavor experience.

   tea (optional)

## Cook’s note

 * If working with frozen strawberries, use 2 cups of diced frozen strawberries
and skip the crushed ice in a recipe. This will make it a little richer, a little
   colder, and denser.
 * Whole milk works best, but other types work fine, as well
 * For a thick and extra rich drink try half milk and half yogurt (or greek yogurt)
