The Autumn Change

As summer’s warmth begins to wane, A shift in fashion, a gentle change, The wardrobe, like the leaves, transforms, From sun-kissed days to cozy norms.

The sundresses and the shorts, they fold, In hues of autumn, stories told, In closets, secrets softly kept, As scarves and sweaters deftly swept.

A palette shifts from bright to deep, In rich, warm tones, our secrets keep, The scarlet reds, the amber golds, Like whispered tales from forests old.

Soft cotton whispers, woven threads, Around our necks and arms, they spread, A hug from sweaters, warm and snug, As autumn’s breeze brings in the hug.

In cozy knits, we find our grace, An embrace for the chilly chase, With every step on fallen leaves, A symphony of rustling sleeves.

The scarves wrap ’round like comfort’s shroud, As autumn’s chill, in silence, vowed, To let us feel the changing air, And dress us in its tender care.

So, let the wardrobe change, it must, From summer’s warmth to autumn’s trust, In sweaters and in scarves, we find, A transformation of a different kind.
