Quickly Assembled Cheesy Cauliflower Casserole

This is an extremely simple recipe made in a fraction of the time it takes to pop a frozen pizza into the oven. In a nutshell, you sauté your cauliflower in butter, then whisk in a bit of flour, salt, and pepper before tossing in a handful of cheddar and gruyere. The end result is a delicious meal that’s sure to please.

Aside from the gratin, you can also make a similar dish by adding some macaroni noodles during the sauté phase. You’ll have to be careful though, as macaroni inevitably absorbs the cheesy goodness.

You’ll also want to consider the ingredients you’re using and the method you’re using to make this deliciously creamy concoction. Depending on your preferences, you could opt for a simple, no fuss method or forgo the chopping and sauteing altogether. If you’re using the latter method, you’ll probably need to add a few extra minutes of cooking time. That said, I’d recommend getting it right the first time around if you can.

In my book, the combination of all those factors makes this casserole a winning dish. It’s also a healthy way to get your daily veggie fix. And, of course, it’s a fun meal to serve to family and friends. Toss in some grilled chicken if you’re feeling particularly fancy, and you’ve got a dinner that will make any guest happy. After all, they’ll be talking about it for hours to come.

The best part of this cheesy concoction is that it’s ready in under 30 minutes.
